WHEN WILL CONSTRUCTION BEGIN AND WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
Construction on the Finished Water Pipeline will take place along Fairview Drive to install the new transmission pipeline and replace the pipeline that distributes water to our drinking water customers. Construction is expected to begin in early June 2019.
WILL ACCESS TO MY HOUSE BE IMPACTED?
Throughout construction, residents along Fairview Drive may experience temporary access restrictions and roadway disruptions. We will ensure that those impacted will be notified in advance of construction work.
WILL FAIRVIEW DRIVE BE REPAVED?
Yes, at the end of the pipeline construction, all of Fairview Drive will be repaved.
WILL I LOSE WATER SERVICE DURING CONSTRUCTION?
Your water service will be disconnected and reconnected to a temporary above ground pipeline for the duration of construction. In order to connect to the temporary pipeline, residents may experience a temporary water service disruption. We will ensure that those impacted will be notified in advance of the disruption.
When construction is completed, water service connections below ground will be reconnected and the temporary pipeline will be dismantled.
AT WHAT TIMES WILL CONSTRUCTION TAKE PLACE?
Construction will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend work may occur with the approval of the Town.
WHERE WILL I BE REDIRECTED IF A ROAD IS CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION?

CAN PACKAGES BE DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE DURING CONSTRUCTION?
Yes, package delivery can still take place during construction.
Detours will be identified as the construction plan is developed in the spring of 2019 and will be posted on the project website. Those directly impacted by a full road closure will be notified in advance of the closure.
